The Berry Man apple puree is imported from New Zealand.  Sound, mature apples are washed, milled, and blanched.  The fruit is then reduced to a puree with fine particles in it.  Ascorbic acid is used to maintain product colour.  The puree is hot filled into pouches then cooled.  It is NOT frozen, but sold as an ambient temperature product.

The shelf life of this product is 18 months from manufacture.  After opening, store below 5C and use within 5 days.
